Generally the visa application together with all necessary documents should be submitted personally to the German Embassy or Consulate responsible for your present place of residence. Make sure you contact the German Embassy/Consulate in good time and enquire about the specific requirements. In some countries it may take up to 3 months to obtain an appointment at the German Embassy.
